Right after attendance we will go to the library to get copies of Romeo and Juliet.

5th period will do a brief writing exercise, then you will write your own love quatrains, two of them, that will go together. Each line should have ten syllables, so you will have 80 syllables when you finish. I'd also like you to scan your poem(s) with slashes and u's.
If we get through this part we will add the last parts to form a sonnet.

5th period will use a new seating chart today. We have decided, due to low levels of student cooperation, that you should sit in different seats until we can gain enough cooperation to allow learning to take place. Once we gain your cooperation we will allow you to, again, sit where you choose.
